Ignacio Rivera Bunye (born April 19, 1945[1]) is a Filipino public official who retired in 2014 as Monetary Board Member of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, a post he held since July 3, 2008.[2] Prior to his appointment as monetary board member, he served as the Press Secretary, acting Executive Secretary under Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Congressman, and Mayor of Muntinlupa. He recently rejoined the Bank of the Philippine Islands as Independent Director.[citation needed]
