Mathias Mpuuga Nsamba(born 12 October 1975) is a Ugandan politician, lawyer, and teacher who served as the Leader of the Opposition from 2021 to 2024.[1][2][3][4][5] He previously serves as a Member of Parliament of Nyendo-Mukungwe municipality in Masaka district from 2011 until 2021 and briefly as the Leader of the Opposition.[6]

He is the current member of Parliament representing Nyendo-Mukungwe Division, a newly created constituency following the elevation of Masaka Municipality into a city.[7] Mpuuga also serves as Deputy President of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Political party led by Bobi Wine.
He is currently a commissioner in the parliament of Uganda.[8][9]
