Maureen Mwanawasa (née Kakubo; born April 28, 1963) is a legal practitioner and was once a First Lady of Zambia from 2002 to 2008. She is also a member of the Association of Women Lawyers in the United Kingdom,[1] a serving council member of Law Association of Zambia Women’s Rights Committee,[1] and is the current Vice Chairperson for the Habitat for Humanity, Zambia Board.[2] She is the current Patron of Breakthrough Cancer Trust and the Child Care & Adoption Society of Zambia.[3][4][5]
