Melle (French pronunciation: [mɛl]) is a commune in the Deux-Sèvres department in western France.[3] On 1 January 2019, the former communes Mazières-sur-Béronne, Paizay-le-Tort, Saint-Léger-de-la-Martinière and Saint-Martin-lès-Melle were merged into Melle.[4]
