Moqhaka Municipality (Sotho: Masepala wa Moqhaka; Afrikaans: Moqhaka Munisipaliteit) is a local municipality within the Fezile Dabi District Municipality, in the Free State province of South Africa.[3] In 2001, the population was 267,881 with a total area of 7925 km². The seat is Kroonstad.[4] Moqhaka is the Sesotho word for "crown".[5]
