N-formylmaleamate deformylase (EC 3.5.1.106, NicD) is an enzyme with systematic name N-formylmaleamic acid amidohydrolase.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction
- N-formylmaleamic acid + H2O maleamate + formate
