Major-General Peter John Blunt, CB, MBE, GM (8 August 1923 – 8 August 2003)[3] was a British Army officer and businessman. As a logistics officer in 1959, he was awarded the George Medal for risking his own life to save one of his drivers.[4] He was the father of politician Crispin Blunt and grandfather of actress Emily Blunt.
