Peter Voss, Thief of Millions (German: Peter Voss, der Millionendieb) is a 1913 comedy crime novel written by the German writer Ewald Gerhard Seeliger. The novel has been the basis for a number of films and one television series. The first adaptation was a 1921 silent film Peter Voss, Thief of Millions directed by Georg Jacoby.[1] The 1959 film Peter Voss, Hero of the Day was an original story based on the character of the novel.
