Princess Sumaya University for Technology

Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT) was established in 1991 as a non-profit private university in Jordan.,[1] It is owned by the Royal Scientific Society. PSUT specializes in Information Technology (IT), Communications, and Electronics.

The university is located in Amman, Jordan, and offers a range of courses related to ICT. PSUT offers B.Sc. degrees in Computer Science, Computer Graphics and Animation, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Communication Engineering, Energy and Electrical Power Engineering, Management Information Systems, Administration of business, Accounting, Business Information Technology and E-Marketing and Social Media. The university campus underwent a renovation and expansion in late 2004.
The university has a Sun Microsystems lab, primarily used for Java courses, as well as Unix courses on Sun SPARC-based machines. Additionally, PSUT has a Rubicon Lab used for teaching animation and video game development courses. Recently, an Oracle incubator lab was established on the campus with the goal of familiarizing students with Oracle technologies and removing the stereotypical view of Oracle as solely a database company.
PSUT has also established a regional entrepreneurship center, the QQueen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship, to foster talent and transform knowledge in Jordan and the region into a socio-economic impact.[2]
