Przecław [ˈpʂɛt͡swaf] is a small town in Mielec County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Przecław. It lies in Lesser Poland, approximately 11 kilometres (7 mi) south of Mielec and 42 km (26 mi) north-west of the regional capital Rzeszów.[1] Przecław had the status of a town between the 14th century and 1919, and regained it on 1 January 2010. Its population is 1,775.
