Puerto Asís (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpweɾto aˈsis]) is a Colombian municipality and city in Putumayo Department. It is located on the west bank of the Putumayo River, downstream from the mouth of the Guamués River, 75 km (47 mi) south of (Cardinal) Mocoa. Bordering Ecuador, Puerto Asís municipality is the most populous municipality of the department, with a population of 67,211.
