The Regency is a greyhound competition held at Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium. It was inaugurated in 1948 and was originally a competition for British Bred Greyhounds only before switching to all-comers.[1] The event originally called the Regency Produce Stakes immediately attracted interest with 161 British Bred litters in the first year and over 200 litters in the 1949 edition and has remained a significant event.[2]
