Opseth made her world cup debut in 2015, only 16 years old.[1]
She competed at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti, Finland.[2] Competing at the 2018 Winter Olympics, she placed 16th in the women's normal hill individual.[3]
She won her first world cup victory in Holmenkollen in March 2022.[1]
