Aspect of history / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Following is all written by me since on the original page The history of computer science's topic John McCarthy, Marvin Minsky and Artificial intelligence did not have any information really other than the name listed.
I am trying to follow the same style that the page is being contributed in. This consists of talking about who had partaken in the process and briefly describing what it was they contributed to.
Now I am trying to update most of the whole article with missing citations, images, and chronological order to make the most sense from the main topic.
This user page needs to be updated. Please help update this user page to reflect recent events or newly available information. Relevant discussion may be found on the talk page. (September 2013) |
The history of computer science began long before our modern discipline of computer science, usually appearing in forms like mathematics or physics. Developments in previous centuries alluded to the discipline that we now know as computer science.[1] This progression, from mechanical inventions and mathematical theories towards modern computer concepts and machines, led to the development of a major academic field, massive technological advancement across the Western world, and the basis of a massive worldwide trade and culture.[2]
