Yuryevetsky District

Yuryevetsky District (Russian: Ю́рьевецкий райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Ivanovo Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 788 square kilometers (304 sq mi).[citation needed] Its administrative center is the town of Yuryevets.[1] Population: 12,170 (2021 Census);[6] 15,930 (2010 Russian census);[2] 19,366 (2002 Census);[7] 24,522 (1989 Soviet census).[8] The population of Yuryevets accounts for 64.9% of the district's total population.[2]
