The 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade (Ukrainian: 102-га окрема бригада територіальної оборони) is a military formation of the Territorial Defense Forces of Ukraine in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. It is part of Operational Command West. The full name of the Brigade is the 102nd Independent Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces named after Dmytro Vitovsky.[2]

Formation
In 2018 in Ivano-Frankivsk region Brigade was formed. On 30 January 2019 Brigade began to increase its ranks and units full Brigade level.[2]
Between 27 May and 2 June 2019 150 reservist trained together in Kalush.[1]

From 14 June 2022, elements of the brigade's 77th Battalion participated in the defense of the village of Krasnopillia near Sloviansk. On 16 June, they were joined by the brigade's 79th Battalion, and also took part in combat near the village of Dolyna. On the same day, other units of the 102nd Brigade were engaged in combat in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast at the villages of Malynivka, Zelenyi Hai, and Chervone.[3]
The 77th Battalion continued defending the village of Krasnopillia against Russian assault operations into late June 2022.[3]
Engineering units of the brigade were used to clear deoccupied areas from unexploded ordnance in July.[4] On 11 August units of the brigade destroyed an enemy BMP.[5] The brigade also took part in operations near Lyman in September.[6] Units of the brigade took part in combat in Southern Ukraine, being deployed to Zaporizhzhia Oblast in September 2022.[7] On 14 October, the brigade received its battle flag.[8] On 17 November soldiers destroyed a BTR-82AT.[9] In January 2023 units of the brigade were training in Zaporizhzhia area.[10] Medics of the 78th Territorial Defense Battalion were serving in Huliaipole during February 2023.[11]
