1988 Northwestern Wildcats football team

The 1988 Northwestern Wildcats football team represented Northwestern University as a member of the Big Ten Conference during the 1988 NCAA Division I-A football season. Led by third-year head coach Francis Peay, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 2–8–1 with a mark of 2–5–1 in conference play, tying for seventh place in the Big Ten.
