El Salvador vs Martinique
The two teams had met only once at the Gold Cup, a group stage match at the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup, won by El Salvador 1–0.[2][3] This had also been the only previous meeting between the two teams, considering that Martinique is not a FIFA member.
