The 2024 Oklahoma Sooners softball team was an American college softball team that represents the University of Oklahoma during the 2024 NCAA Division I softball season. The Sooners were led by Patty Gasso in her thirtieth season, and played their home games at Love's Field as a member of the Big 12 Conference. This was the Sooners' first season at Love's Field.[2] The Sooners won the 2024 Women's College World Series, becoming the first team in college softball history to four-peat.[3][4]

This season was the team's last as members of the Big 12 Conference before joining the SEC on July 1, 2024.[5]

Previous season

The Sooners finished the 2023 season 61–1 overall, and 18–0 in the Big 12, finishing in first place in their conference. Following the conclusion of the regular season, the Sooners won the 2023 Big 12 Conference softball tournament and received an automatic bid to the 2023 NCAA Division I softball tournament, where they were the No. 1 overall seed. They won the 2023 Women's College World Series over Florida State.[6][7]
