Format
Starting this season, the Jordan Football Association decided to alter the format of the Jordanian Pro League by decreasing the amount of teams from last season to ten clubs. In addition, the league will consist of three stages as opposed to two from previous seasons, increasing the amount of competitive matches to 27.[2]
This will be the first edition since the 2008–09 season where ten clubs get to participate in the league.
