2025 Norwegian Second Division

The 2025 Norwegian Second Division (referred to as PostNord-ligaen for sponsorship reasons) is an ongoing Norwegian football third-tier league season. The league consists of 28 teams divided into two groups of 14 teams.

The league will be played as a double round-robin tournament, where all teams play 26 matches. The season started on 29 March 2025 and will end on 25 October 2025, not including play-off matches.^[1][2]

Team changes

In the 2024 Norwegian Second Division, Hødd and Skeid were promoted to the 2025 Norwegian First Division, while Gjøvik-Lyn, Junkeren, Kvik Halden, Vålerenga 2, Viking 2 and Ørn Horten were relegated to the 2025 Norwegian Third Division.

Levanger and Sandnes Ulf were relegated from the 2024 Norwegian First Division, while Asker, Hønefoss, Pors, Rana, Sandviken, Træff were promoted from the 2024 Norwegian Third Division.
