- January 7 to present - Several architecturally significant buildings were destroyed in the January 2025 Southern California wildfires.[1][2]
- March 16 - The Wilhelminatoren in Valkenburg suddenly and unexpectedly collapsed. Nobody was hurt. It raised concerns about maintenance of national monuments in the Netherlands.[3]
