The 23rd Actors and Actresses Union Awards ceremony was held on 10 March 2014 at the Teatro Coliseum in Madrid.[1] The gala was hosted by Llum Barrera and Secun de la Rosa.[2]
In addition to the competitive awards, Carmen Pitillas, Dolores Ramírez, Delia Mateos and Pilar Vázquez (the promoters of the grassroots platform that managed to avoid the closure of the Renoir cinemas in Majadahonda) received the 'Mujeres en Unión' award, José Sazatornil, Saza the 'Toda una vida' career award and the Confederación de Artistas del Espectáculo (Conarte) union the Special Award.[2][3]
