A History of My Brief Body received starred reviews from Kirkus Reviews,[1] and Quill & Quire,[2] as well as positive reviews from Rabble.ca,[3] Full Stop,[4] Cloud Literary,[5] The Washington Post,[6] The Rumpus,[7] Booklist,[8] and The Nerd Daily.[9]
Kirkus Reviews,[10] CBC,[11] The Globe and Mail, and Largehearted Boy named the book one of the best of the year,[12] and Book Riot[13][14][15] and The Globe and Mail[16] included it on other reading lists.
