Acanthonus

Acanthonus, also known as deepsea cusk-eels, are a genus of deepwater ophidiiform fish. They are the only members of the family Acanthonidae. They were formerly placed within the subfamily Neobythiinae of the Ophidiidae.^[1][2][3]
