Acentroptera norrisii is a species of beetle of the family Chrysomelidae. It is found in Brazil (Parana, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catharina, São Paulo) and French Guiana.[1]

Description

Adults reach a length of about 10.4-11.5 mm. They are reddish, with a yellowish head. The antennae are also reddish, but the apical four antennomeres are darker. The pronotum has a black vitta on the lateral margins and a medial longitudinal vitta. The elytra are yellowish with red margins, a black band and a transverse band near the posterior margin.[2]

Life history

No host plant has been documented for this species.[1]
