All of Us Are Dead (Korean: 지금 우리 학교는) is a South Korean coming-of-age[2] horror television series based on the webtoon of the same name by Joo Dong-geun, which was published on Webtoon between 2009 and 2011.[3][4] It stars Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo. The series centers on a group of high school students in the fictional South Korean city of Hyosan, and their struggle to survive amidst a zombie outbreak, and filmed at Sunghee Girls' High School in Andong.
The series was released on January 28, 2022, on Netflix.[5][6] Following its release, the series was watched over 474.26 million hours in its first 30 days on the service.[7] The series was renewed for a second season on June 6, 2022,[8] and principal photography commenced on July 23, 2025.

Synopsis
In the South Korean city of Hyosan, a misguided high school science teacher unleashes a deadly virus through a failed experiment, triggering a sudden zombie outbreak within the school. As the infection rapidly spreads beyond the campus and into the city, authorities struggle to respond to the escalating crisis. Amid the chaos, a group of students—cut off from the outside world—must rely on their instincts, courage, and each other to survive the undead threat and find a way to escape.
In the second season, after surviving the Hyosan zombie virus, Nam On-jo is a college student in Seoul when she suddenly must survive a new deadly zombie virus that is unleashed.[9]

Season 1
On April 12, 2020, Netflix announced through a press release that JTBC Studios and Film Monster would produce a series called All of Us Are Dead based on the popular webtoon Now at Our School.[39][40] On April 19, 2020, Yoon Chan-young was confirmed to star in the series as one of the students.[41] Park Ji-hu joined the main cast on April 22.[42] On July 1, they were officially joined by Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon and Yoo In-soo.[43] In selecting the cast, director Lee Jae-kyoo said, "I thought that bringing on actors who were great at acting but still unknown to the public would add to the immersion of the series".[44]
Production was temporarily suspended in August 2020 due to the re-spreading of COVID-19 pandemic in South Korea.[45]
Season 2
In April 2024, Park Chul-soo, the CEO of Film Monster, announced that the filming period was scheduled for 2024 and the premiere of the second season is set to take place in the second half of 2025.[46] Netflix decided to postpone the filming schedule to 2025 for better production environment and high quality completeness.[47] In June 2025, it was announced that the cast of the second season had been joined by Roh Jae-won, Lee Min-jae, Kim Si-eun, Seo Ji-hoon, Yoon Ga-i, Kim Min, Ahn Dong-goo and Ryu Sung-rok.[34][35][36][37] Principal photography commenced on July 23, 2025.[9]

Reception
The review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes reported an approval rating of 89% based on 27 reviews, with an average rating of 7.1/10. The site's critical consensus reads, "While All of Us Are Dead loses some of its bite with an overlong season, its emotional grounding puts plenty of meat on the bone."[48] Metacritic gave it a weighted average score of 67 out of 100 based on reviews from 5 critics, indicating "generally favorable reviews".[49]
IGN rated the series a 7 out of 10 and noted that the series was "clever, thrilling, and also... a bit exhausting."[50] Variety praised the series, stating it "makes the most out of its nightmarish central location to otherworldly, dizzying effect."[51]
