Background

After the regional success of her debut EP Introducing, led by the hit single "Uncover", Larsson released her second extended play, Allow Me to Reintroduce Myself, later in 2013. While her first project helped establish her presence in the Scandinavian pop market, this follow-up EP offered a broader look at her musical style and artistic direction. The release featured songs with stronger R&B and pop influences and was seen as a step toward developing a more defined sound ahead of her first full-length studio album, which she began working on shortly afterward.[3]
