Aloe divaricata is a species of aloe native to northwest Madagascar. The pure species type of this plant is rare in cultivation, but most people know of this plant as Aloe "Diablo".[1][2]

Description

This description below is valid for the pure species type, not diablos.

This species has long leaves that have red prickles. It will grow a tall stem, and clump with time. Leaves are a blue greenish color like the plant Agave americana. It also shows evident inprints of the prickles on some leaves as well, but not all leaves. Sunstresses to a pink/red color.

Flowers

This aloe has coral flowers on an inflorescence with many branches.
