History

The Recharla Padmanayaka dynasty ruled Amangal as its capital in 13th century.^[2] Padmanayaka dynasty were the feudatories of Kakateeya kings. They ruled South part of Kakateeya kingdom with their capitals as Amangal, Rachakonda and Devarakonda.
