Ecology

It can be found growing on the phorophytes Klainedoxa gabonensis, Gilbertiodendron dewevrei, Mangifera indica and in cocoa plantations. It can also occur with Calamus, Uapaca heudelotii and Irvingia smithii, and in the undergrowth with Marantaceae and Zingiberaceae.^[1]
