Anjali Bansal is an Indian business leader and investor, founder of Avaana Capital and former Chairperson, Dena Bank investing in technology and innovation.[1][2][3][4]
Career
In 2018, She founded Avaana Capital to invest in companies and startups focused on sustainability and technology.[5][6][7]
Anjali has worked with several global organizations, including McKinsey & Company, TPG and as the Chairperson of Dena Bank.[8] She has been on the boards of notable companies such as Tata Power, Piramal Enterprises, and others.[9][10][11]
She was a Global Partner and Managing Director at TPG Growth PE, overseeing operations across India, Southeast Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.[12] In 2021, Anjali Bansal joined the advisory council for the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC).[13][14][15]
Anjali Bansal is a member of NITI Aayog's Evolution Committee and the Expert Advisory Committee for the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme.[16][17][18]
In November 2024, she served as the keynote speaker at NYC Climate Week, held at Columbia University.[19]
