Plot

Anna Karenina (Russian: «Анна Каренина»; Russian pronunciation: [ˈanːə kɐˈrʲenʲɪnə])^[2] leaves her cold husband for the dashing Count Vronsky in 19th-century Russia. An unfortunate series of events leaves her hopelessly depressed.

Production notes

Reeve learned to ride horses while preparing for this film. In 1995, he became paralyzed in a horse riding accident.^[3]
