Anolis maynardii

Anolis maynardii, also known commonly as Maynard's anole, is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae. The species is endemic to the Cayman Islands.^[2]

The specific name, maynardii, is in honor of American ornithologist Charles Johnson Maynard.^[3]: 172

Behavior

Anolis maynardi is arboreal, but it is occasionally found on the ground and in buildings.^[1]

Habitat

The preferred natural habitat of Anolis maynardii is forest, at altitudes of 2–12 m (6.6–39.4 ft).^[1]

Reproduction

Anolis maynardii is oviparous.^[2]
