Apechthis is a genus of insects belonging to the family Ichneumonidae.[1]
The genus was first described by Arnold Förster in 1869.[1]
The genus has almost cosmopolitan distribution.[1] Body color changes depending on distribution, with yellow Apechthis species found towards the equator. [2]

- Apechthis capulifera (Kriechbaumer, 1887) [3]
- Apechthis ontario (Cresson, 1870)[1] - as species name suggests, found in North America[4]
- Apechthis quadridentata (Thomson, 1877) [3]
- Apechthis rapae (Uchida, 1925) - found in South Korea, Japan, and Russia [3]
- Apechthis rufata (Gmelin, 1790)[1]
- Apechthis taiwana Uchida, 1928 - found in southern China and Taiwan. [2]
