Aphidius ervi is a species of parasitoid wasp in the subfamily Aphidiinae of the family Braconidae.[1] It can be found globally.[2]

A. ervi is used as a biological control for aphids in order to prevent aphid damage to crops.[3] It parasitizes several Macrosiphinae aphid species, including the pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum),[4] but it prefers the potato aphid (Macrosiphum euphorbiae) and foxglove aphid (Aulacorthum solani) as its hosts.[3]
