Aranitas is a village and a former municipality in Fier County, Albania. During the 2015 local government reform it became a subdivision of the municipality of Mallakastër.[1] The population at the 2011 census was 2,714.[2] The name is derived from the Arianiti family, an Albanian noble family in the late Middle Ages.

- Mustafa Aranitasi (12 April 1872 – 26 April 1961) was an Albanian military commander and politician who served as Minister of War on two separate terms during the 1920s. A Zog loyalist, he played an important role in the reformation of the Albanian Army during this time period.
