The women's 1500 metres event at the 2001 Summer Universiade was held at the Workers Stadium in Beijing, China on 28 and 29 August.[1][2]
The winning margin was 1.93 seconds which as of 2024 is the greatest winning margin in the women's 1500 metres at these games.
