BASH BACK is a "trans-led direct action group", based in the UK - not to be confused with the US Bash Back![1]

On 10 October 2025, BASH BACK claimed responsibility for the vandalism at the Brighton Centre during the FiLiA conference. The group declared the beginning of a 'new era of trans rage' against events they perceived as hostile to trans safety. BASH BACK specifically criticised speakers such as Julie Bindel and organisations including LGB Alliance for promoting 'discriminatory rhetoric' which, in their view, contributes to violence against transgender individuals. The action involved broken windows and graffiti, occurring amidst increasing tensions between some strands of feminism and trans activism in the United Kingdom, particularly concerning debates over sex-segregated spaces.[2]
