Footnotes

  1. At some stage the B3391 in Tiverton was the designated route of A396; and the route of the A396 west of Tiverton was designated the A3126. The B3391 was also a road through Culmstock and Uffculme; and remains as a road through Culmstock to Hemyock. The old route of the B3391 from Uffculme to Willand is now designated the B3440; and there is a completely separate B3440 road at Weston-super-Mare.
  2. The branch of the B3199 to the A3022 at Shiphay follows Hele Road, part of the route of the defunct B3198. The defunct B3202 started from the B3198 at the corner of Westhill Road and St Mary Church Road.
