Bachgoti Rajput

Bachgoti, Bachalgoti or Bachal, Bachhal^[1][2][3] are a Hindu Rajput clan found scattered in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan of India. During Muslim Rule of India, many of them accepted Islam and are now part of Muslim Rajput community known as Bachgoti Khanzada. E. G. Barrow in his book mentions Bachal Rajputs formed part of Indian Army^[4] especially Rajputana Rifles^[5] Among Rajputs Bargujars accepted wives from Bachal Rajputs^{[6][7][8][9][10][11][5]}
