Bangladesh International Tutorial, abbreviated as BIT, is a private English-medium school in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1983, it follows the Pearson Edexcel curriculum for the GCE Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level) examinations.

BIT operates two main campuses — in Uttara and Gulshan. The Uttara campus is one of the largest school campuses in Dhaka, spanning approximately 18 bighas, including a 9-bigha field and modern academic facilities. It is known for its low student–teacher ratio, strong academic results, and extensive extracurricular programs such as Model United Nations (MUN), martial arts, drama, art, and foreign languages including French and Mandarin.
The Gulshan campus offers a more personalized learning environment in a central location, maintaining BIT’s focus on academic excellence and individual attention. Both campuses emphasize holistic education, security, and value for money.
Unlike corporate education groups, BIT is a family-run institution founded by educator Lubna Chowdhury with a mission to provide high-quality education in Bangladesh. It continues to be managed by her family, upholding her vision of nurturing independent thinkers and global achievers.[1]
