Benjamin Hale Cheever was born on October 8, 1948 to Mary Winternitz and writer John Cheever[1] and is an American writer and editor.[2] His sister is Susan Cheever. He has written four adult fiction novels, one children's book, and two nonfiction books.[citation needed]
