Bishweshwar Nandi

Bishweshwar Nandi is an Indian gymnastics coach.^[1][2][3] He was also a prolific gymnast himself.^[2][4] He was trained by Dalip Singh.^[1] Nandi had been five times National Champion in gymnastics, represented the country in 12 instances and led the Indian gymnastics team six times as captain.^[4] He won Dronacharya Award in 2016 for his outstanding contribution to Indian gymnastics as a coach.^[5][6] Dipa Karmakar is one of the most successful students of Nandi.^[1][4][5] His wife, Soma Nandi, is also a gymnastics coach.^[1][3][4]
