Gameplay
Block Blast! is played on a fixed grid in which the player is given sets of three randomly shaped blocks. The objective is to place these blocks onto the grid to form complete horizontal or vertical lines, which are then cleared to make space for additional blocks. Similar to Tetris, the player earns more points when more lines are cleared. The game ends when no further blocks can be placed.
Reception
Block Blast! has received generally positive reception from players, particularly for its simplicity and relaxing gameplay.[citation needed] It has been frequently ranked among the most popular games on mobile app stores, with over 200 million downloads worldwide.[3][4] Criticism has arisen due to the game's use of advertisements and in-app purchases.[citation needed]
