Bounce is a Canadian radio network, that airs on stations owned by Bell Media. It launched on May 18, 2021, with an adult hits format.[1] The network currently broadcasts on five stations nationwide.

History

It was announced on May 18, 2021, that 25 Bell Media stations across Canada would flip to the adult hits format on that day. These stations would air songs from the 1980s, the 1990s, and the 2000s.[2] Most of the stations that joined the flip were under the brandings of Bob FM, EZ Rock, The Dock, and The Bear.[3]

On February 8, 2024, Bell announced a restructuring that included the sale of 45 of its 103 radio stations to seven buyers, subject to approval by the CRTC, including 20 Bounce stations being sold to ZoomerMedia, Golden Horseshoe Broadcasting, Maritime Broadcasting System, Durham Radio, Vista Radio and My Broadcasting Corporation.[4] The respective sales were approved by the CRTC on December 12, 2024, December 19, 2024, December 20, 2024, January 30, 2025, February 13, 2025, and February 26, 2025.[5][6][7][8][9][10]
