Brewongle is a locality in the Bathurst Region of New South Wales, Australia.[2] It had a population of 124 people as of the 2016 census.[1]

Railway Station
Opened on 1 July 1872 as Macquarie Plains, the station was named Brewongle from 1 September 1879. Located 226.100 km from Sydney, it featured two platforms, with a significant brick station building[3] . It was closed on 6 April 1975, and demolished in the second half of 1988.
The stationmaster's cottage remains.
