Bunny slippers are a type of slipper in the shape of a cartoon rabbit, especially worn by children.

Advertisements in the United States date as far back as 1916, when they were described as being made of white felt.[1] An early description of bunny slippers, from December 1918, noted that they were "a novelty of recent origination." No longer limited to white felt, they were by this time available in pink and blue, and "tufted with fur and with bells in the ears."[2]
Bunny slippers had spread to Australia by 1920.[3]
