Cabaret Shanghai (Spanish: Cabaret Shangai) is a 1950 Mexican musical crime drama film directed by Juan Orol. and starring Rosa Carmina, Manuel Arvide and Amparo Arozamena.[1] It was part of the trend of Rumberas films, popular during the Golden Age of Mexican Cinema. It was shot at the Azteca Studios in Mexico City. The film's sets were designed by the art director Ramón Rodríguez Granada.

Plot

Alberto (Robert Romaña), the confidant of Tony (Juan Orol), a gangster owner of the Cabaret Shanghai, departs from the business when his boss's lover, Mary Ruth (Rosa Carmina) shown affectionate with him. The destination will soon torment these cursed lovers, who will be chased by the police as well as by the betrayed gangster.
