Calathus ascendens

Calathus ascendens is a species of ground beetle^[1][2] from the Platyninae subfamily.^[3] It is endemic to Tenerife, the Canary Islands.^[1][2] It occurs in the pine forests and in the open areas at higher altitudes.^[1]
